Magill do not feed into Romes BS,,,I have read his posts and he has said NOTHING but he doesnt like the new album because chester isnt screaming in every song,,,As for the comments on MTV generation,,,what generation is he talking about because there are several MTV generations,,,Rome has said NOTHING constructive and feeding into his childish antics isnt going to solve anything,,,Name calling is what u do in the second grade,,there is also a block feature here,,,USE it,,,I am assuming this site is for people who Love LP and their music :)

Since I have actually taken the time to listen to this new CD,,I figured I would put my two cents in,,,,TS although not what we would expect from LP (except the CATALYST) is pretty dayum good...I have taken the time to listen to this CD quit a few times,,For those who are saying where is LP in this CD,,you DID NOT listen to the CD...You can hear old school LP in almost every song...Listen to the mixes..Its all there
As for the "NEW" sound...I like it ...kinda..I am actually amazed with Chester voice...I am so glad that LP took the time to show case Chesters actual talent..Although I am NOT a fan of ballads,,I am very impressed Chester can do more with his voice than scream,,As for Mike,,,nice job also but I already knew his talents before hand:)
To me this album is NOT Techno (except for the MP3 mix) I actually dont hear alot of techno in it...but for me I hear musical influences like Pink Floyd,,,Rush ,,Queensryche and even ABBA...The only thing I really didnt understand is the Jamaican influence,,although it made me laugh ...I love the mixes and the way they are put together ,,,KUDDOS to Mike for that...I do have to say NONE of the sounds are new the mixes are new:)
As for the lyrics,,,HIGH IMPACT!!!! SMart people would of taken the time to read the CDs FIRST PAGE and would of known this wasnt going to be LP old school...but most now hit iTunes for their music,,,The lyrics are political ,,social and antisocial,,,so of coarse younger generations are not going to understand this album at all...The lyrics do remind me of Mikes album Fort Minor ,,,But in my opinion that album is one of the greatest ever written...so of coarse I am going to like this one...
This album is going to be hard to swallow for people under 25,,,maybe people under 30,,,because parents are to busy sheltering their children from the bad and the ugly that is out there...All in all their is alot of music mixes which makes it very interesting and the lyrics are heavy impacting!!!!!
In my opinion this is a awesome CD,,,,but if ur after old sound LP,,,the only song that sounds old school through and through is the CATALYST :)

Sorry to say this Rome, but Linkin Park start up Nu Metal and they will end it if they want...when Linkin Park was Hybrid Theory that's when I began to listen to them. They have always had an awesome Nu Metal sound...yeah it has deminished in the past few albums, but there is no way in hell they are in the pop music category....I will go with soft rock before pop music.
Pop music is lady Gaga, Justin Beiber, and others such as those...Linkin Park doesn't even hit anywhere near that crap...U don't like the album that's fine, but don't you dare call it Pop music.

Nah fool, I aint no punk. ANd i was in 8th when HT came out and its not my fault this album was fkin generic as hell. I didnt make it, if i did it be actually "rock" not under the rock catagory and have pop music...wtf. plus its not even good pop music, its like hella quiet where they whisper all their songs, wtf....point is the album isnt that great at all, deserves bout 1 listen then you toss it. ANd your as generic as they come, bad music taste just like everyone nowdays. There are no good bands, and there wont be any till they recycle nu metal in like 10 years or so,
