Linkin Park is my favorite band of all time and I've been a fan of theirs for more than 10 years now. I has always been a dream of mines to attend one of their concerts and with some strong determination and luck that dream came through on Friday 4th Feb at Madison Square Garden. I didn't get through to the presale so i bought tickets through a broker and ended up paying $300 for a ticket but it was worth every penny.I am from Trinidad (The Caribbean) and the weather is always hot in Trinidad so it was really interesting standing in the freezing cold for 6 hours, my fingers were so numb i could not even send a text message and it was really a funny sight seeing me dance around trying to keep warm. A person in line told me that as soon as i get inside "RUN" and boy did i run, i ran like my life depended on it and i ran so fast that i out ran my sister who went with me lol. When we finally reached the pit i choose the perfect spot "the center". There was only one person in front of me who then became my good friend (Pete). Pete is the nicest Linkin Park fan you'll ever meet he left me get his front row spot can you imagine that??? Because of Pete i was front row when Chester came into the crowd singing Crawling and i got touched by the Hotness himself. I'll be forever grateful to Pete for that experience it was a dream come true. It seemed that tonight was my night because when Mike came into the crowd he climbed on the barricade right in front of us and was singing, it was amazing being sooooo close to all that energy and getting touched by Mike too. Their performance that night was simply mind blowing and it still seems unreal that i was there. I'm also lucky that this performance was recorded for FUSE so i can relive this moment over and over again. I really can't wait to see them perform again if i had not gone broke buying over $400 in merchandise i'd probably be flying out to see them perform at Mohegan Sun this Friday. Below are links to my albums from that night i got some really great pics.
