Ok, great stems, great message, blah blah blah. Whats up with the crappy rules? Unless I misunderstood the rules it appears singers, young people and others who do not reside in the applicable "territories" can't use their talent to enter. I don't know who's in charge of what and I don't care. But what I do care about is the contest is severely limited. Anyone should be able to enter at any age and any location and with any instrument. But then again I'm no lawyer. I'm sure the rules have to with denying the dividends to the winner. Anyone who's on a LP record should get points on the album (1000 bucks for being featured on a LP record? That is tantamount to raping your fans, no?). Do you guys work for the RIAA and sue people 2k + per song for downloading it? Theres a reason why the music industry is on the brink of an economic collapse as well as the rest of the world. I'm sure greed and the idiot lawyers are to boot. By denying people of their talent in the contest you could limit your status or sales on the next record as well as denying great talent that was inspired by you guys. Who knows, maybe it would be the largest selling album ever with the right talent. We will never know because the rules are oppressive. Oh well old news, art fails yet again in the commercial industry. People with serious things to say can't even convey a counterpart to compliment the message in the song. Young virtuosoes can't display they're talent and people living on many other parts of world are just flat out denied. I don't care if it's Myspace or your labels making the rules but if it's Myspace or labels making rules then you guys should of screwed them and used another platform. That's an epic fail guys. We have many people in the world that are enlightened and that would of benefited the masses through your platform. But then again when your on a big bad label you can hide behind their iron curtain and blame them for the rules. Keep on listening to other people's underground music and use it to exploit it for your profits (spirituality and materialistically). Did your guys-es balls drop off when you made your millions? I thought it was "All about reality and not about the salary." I hope I'm wrong about this whole matter. If I'm not put your foots up your lawyers and labels arse and omit these wack rules asap. You guys can learn a thing or two from Radiohead.
