Mike Shinoda... i respect you from the bottom of my heart... your one of my greatest inspirations, i remember back when i started listening to Linkin Park, it was back in 2003 and the first complete album i ever heard by you guys was your live concert which was in Texas..... and since that day i fell in love with this band, what makes you different from other bands is that you guys spend more time and you guys create the best music.... and trust me others who make albums will just have 2 or 3 good tracks not more but not you guys from hybrid theory to ATS your sound keeps getting better all the time, Iv'e listen to all of your albums... studio, live etc and i never get bored with your songs... you guys give a lot of dedication and time to make your music the best ... its like in your albums, all of them, each song is like worth listening to, like if one song gets over the other one sounds much more better, and its not only the Linkin park sound its also your lyrics... its completely awesome... and i love you guys for what you do... so thank you so much for everything that you guys do especially you Mike.... LP will live on forever and it will be amongst Metallica, Nirvana, Guns n roses etc :)

I just want to say that I am grateful that you took a stand to the work you all do. I'm very open-minded and have loved your guys' music(even though the 1st album I heard was Minutes to Midnight & went backwards from there) Perhaps I'm not in the same view of everyone else of the whole LP changed because I first listened to the changed version. I believe that what you guys have done is great work and it inspires even myself to do so and sometimes different music inspires musicians to explore different feelings. Personally, I find a Thousand Suns to be your greatest album yet! I loved it! I've come across friends who hate you guys now due to the changed sound. I read reviews about the album and heard it sucked and when I bought it, I agreed on the first listening. However after taking it in, I noticed the power in the lyrics and the beauty of the new sounds. I instantly fell in love with this album and I can't thank you all enough to create such awesomeness! I'll be here supporting you guys and keep up with the good work. Great way to silence the haters Mike. :) Power to knowledge! Don't let those haters push you guys around! You guys are different and that is why I love your work LP! Mike, be proud of being in the band you're in and same to the others too.

Mike, u have an amazing ability to be politely downright and yet, not hurt anybody's feelings:) For my perspective, a true fan goes along with the band's changes and has enough respect for the band to not judge their work just because they don't like new sounds or so. To be fair: I can proudly say, that if LP would have stayed in the same musical and artistic bounds 'til today, i don't think i'd had that much respect and love for them.
Thank you, Mike, for the words that needed to be said:)

every thing you guys do is and always has been a work of art. even though your sound has changed a bit from the begining its still amazing. im truely proud to be a die hard LP fan and im proud of you guys and your success. the best thing about your music is the lyrics. i love all the beat behind it of course, but the way you guys write about real life and make people feel like their not alone is deffinately what i fell in love with. and the fact that you guys have acctually gone through a lot in your lives and know what youre talking about definately means a lot. most artists dont have wha you guys have. i found you guys when i was in the 7th grade and i was on the verge of suicide. well not to get meladramatic but your musi literally saved my life. if i hadnt accidentaly heard numb on the radio" that day" i wouldnt be here now.your lyrics saved my life and have helped me get through rough times and still keep me happy. i consider you guys my guardian angels.i hope thats not wierd for you. i cant thank you enoug for that. dont ever get discouraged by ignorant remarks some "fan" says. every thing you guys do is perfect. i love the new album and the new look. long hair realy works for mike and rob. thank you guys again for every thing. love you forever. P.S. cant wait to see saw 3d. GO CHESTER!
