You can be a fan of someone and not like some of there stuff, it's not like a rule where you have to like every single song your favorite band comes out with. I was for anything that Linkin Park did especially when everyone hated there minutes to midnight cd because it was totally different but I liked it because one it was good and two there were actually songs on it with lyrics. There new cd skips to track three in like less then 3 minutes! why put that there's 15 tracks when there's really only like 5 songs on the entire cd. I don't mind listening to just music but it's a cd new an instrumental cd. I just couldn't believe that there weren't like any songs with lyrics. And you can honestly tell me that you loved that like 58 second interlude that was considered as a track? and all of the other pointless interludes? if you can honestly say those satisfied your love for linkin park, then I don't know what to say. And if I should take my profile off then so should many many many other ppl because a lot of us feel the same way.

I think i can speak on behalf of every REAL fan of Linkin Park to say that your are NOT a fan. A true fan would learn to love anything there favorite band does. Yes you are right that they did something different and out of the ordinary. BUT...this is a CD that you can actually sit down and listen to and relax your mind with. I put in this CD yesterday and i was in complete shock to find out all my problems went away for the hour or so that i listened to it. Im a REAL fan of LP and EVERYTHING that they have done is simply amazing! So take that CD out of your car and give it to a REAL fan that truly LISTENS and not HEARS Linkin Park. And take your profile off there Website because you are not a FAN!

I completely agree with this person's blog. I'm sorry I understand what you're saying Tara that we shouldn't just want their old sound forever, but my goodness there is a line there. I'm a die hard Linkin Park fan and have always loved everything they do, but I'm sorry this cd was beyond disappointing. I was sooooooooo excited that my favorite band of all time was coming out with another cd and I bought that cd as soon as I could today, and when I listened to this cd I was utterly disappointed, and quite frankly shocked. So I'm sorry yeah we shouldn't expect the same sound but they shouldn't forget the style of music that they do that got us to love them so much in the first place.

Hey, you logged on to the wrong site- this is for LP fans- clearly u are not one of them- so take your trash talk somewhere else nobody here cares to hear you whine and complain, how they didn't meet your expectations- and people saying go back to where you started- yeah early LP is awesome- some songs I care for more than others- everybody loves the undeground stuff- its off the beaten path, it feeds the rebel in us- but you don't stay there- its called "EVOLUTION"- TRUE LP FANS WOULD NEVER WANT THEIR CREATIVITY STALLED- SUSPENDED AND 2 DIMENSIONAL THEN YOU WOULD BE SAYING THAT ITS SAME OLD SAME OLD- SOUNDS THE SAME AS THE LAST ABLUM AND THE ONE BEFORE- BLAH, BLAH, BORING-- THEY EVOLVE AS ARTISTS PUT OUT THERE WHAT NOBODY ELSE HAS DARED- AND KNOWING THEY MAY FAIL- AND WHEN FANS HERE THE FIRST BARS BEING SANG- ITS SENDS SHIVERS, GOOSEBUMPS AND YOU ARE ENTRANCED- WHICH IS WHAT "THE CATALYST" DID TO ME WHEN I SEEN THE VIDEO- i WORKED THE NIGHT OF THE VMA'S- BUT NOT MUCH WOULD STOP ME FROM SEING THEIR PERFORMANCE- SO I GOT THE REMOTE INFORMED MY STAFF THAT I NEEDED TO SEE THEIR PERFORMANCE- SO THEY SAT THROUGH IT SOME INTERESTED AND SOME NOT- BUT ALL AGREED- A HAPPY BOSS- IS A GOOD BOSS- AND THAT WAS ME. I HAVEN'T HAD A CHANCE TO GET THE NEW STUFF DOWN LOADED YET- I HAVE FAITH THAT THIS FAN WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED
