MORE INFO ABOUT MFR PROJECT:

Leave a green footprint in Western Sydney and support the local community's effort to establish carbon forests to mitigate their greenhouse gas emissions. As part of the Regenesis program, community volunteers have already planted 92,000 locally native trees, shrubs, and grasses and your help is needed to plant and care for hundreds more!

Sydney’s west is home to a large number of nature reserves as well as a thriving population. These natural areas are vital to preserving Sydney's biodiversity and endemic environment. Tregear Reserve supports endangered habitats and rare species is one of many reserves critical to the Regenesis program.

Volunteers will assist in restoring and maintaining natural areas and waterways by assisting with planting native species and protection of existing regeneration sites. Enhance your green skills with us and you may even have a chance to see some of the great bird and wildlife species that call the reserves home!

My daughter also attended the MFR Tree planting and planted 500 trees with another 9 volunteers and Summit staff and had a great time....she thoroughly enjoyed the Summit and won a raffle prize to watch three songs from side stage...needless to say she is still on a high...I managed to get her discounted tickets (an offer from the venue to those who had attended the Sat concert, which we both went to and it was AMAZING!!!!) to the Wednesday night concert as well...so with the tree planting...singing along with Chester in an acoustic number during the Summit....meeting the band.....getting her touring shirt signed...getting a look at the stage...winning the prize..seeing them twice in AMAZING concerts..spending time with other LP fans...and acquiring one of Chester's guitars pics......I think you have made my daughters year!!!!  Thanks from her on a memorable time..she meet some great people...the boys were fantastic....an experience never to be forgotten!!!!!

Thanks for confirming N-Dru, I saw the message to bring a camera at the top and the next email with the release and waiver stated otherwise. I was confused - I'll have to just turn up and see.

i think what this is referring to is just for the MFR tree planting activity. you can bring cameras into the summit itself though... at the top of this page it says "Be sure to dress in your LPU/LP gear and bring your camera to capture your experiences". hope that helps.

FURTHER, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT YOU MAY NOT FILM, RECORD OR PHOTOGRAPH any member of Linkin Park, whether by cameras, cell phone cameras and/or hand-held devices or otherwise."

I don't understand... so we can't take cameras into the summit?
