Like I said before, I like the new Album. At least half of the songs on it.

But you guys need to produce songs with focus on some heavy guitars. Yes, it would be boring to produce a new Hybrid Theory, but you should - like z3r0 said - fire Rick Rubin. He is ruining Linkin Park! And you should use much less of this electronic shit. Nothing against evolving, but is this electronic thing really necessary? Just imagine how some of the new songs would sound with some nice and heavy guitars and here and there some sick screams.

Well, the Album is ok, some awesome songs on it. But you guys could have done so much better on this. JUST TURN UP THE DAMN GUITAR AND START TO FCKNG ROCK AGAIN!!!

I just listened to the entire Album on the iTunes streaming. I'm let down........a third time. I thought the experimental, overly processed sound was supposed to be gone. Every description I've read for this album, even the e-mail iTunes that was sent to me for the streaming, said that Linkin Park was "returning to their roots" for this one. Their roots? It doesn't even sound like the same band.......or genre for that matter. It was night and day re-listening to Hybrid Theory or Meteora after listening to Living Things.

Overall, it sounds very muddy, the drums seem over processed, the guitar is almost non-existent and just blends into the background on many occasions. The beats are mediocre.  I could "rock out" to just about every song on Hybrid Theory and Meteora, but I find myself just listening, and "trying" to find something to like about the past two albums (and now Living Things making it three).

I've been a Linkin Park fan for a long time, and grew up with you guys. I'm still a fan of the old stuff, the stuff that made me flock to your albums in the first place. The past two albums (and now this new one) really disappoint me. I'm all for evolving the sound, but promoting an album as "going back to your roots" when it doesn't even sound like it belongs in the same genre as your roots is a bit misleading, and to be honest, got my hopes up that were quickly brought down.

Sadly itunes is having problems streaming it... myself included. Stream works for anywhere from 2-8 seconds then stops and exits.

Tried it on multiple computers and uninstalled itunes and reinstalled it. It is a shame too because the tiny previews I heard were pretty good.

I've scrolled through and listen to like, a second or two of each song, but I am still waiting until it is downloaded to listen to it :) so far I like it though!
Will we see a Powerless music video in the near future??
