It has been twelve years now that I am listening to Linkin Park. Looking back to those twelve years humming their songs is like buiding a soundtrack of my life. I discovered to express my teen angst and frustration in One Step Closer and Papercut from Hybrid Theory. In Meteora, I learned to be the person that I want to be and veer away from what other people want me to be in Numb. Minutes to Midnight taught me to value what I have and to appreciate what life has given me in In Pieces. While in A Thousand Suns, I learned the value of letting something go and the pains in the process of rebuilding one's dignity and self-worth in Waiting for the End. Finally, as I almost reach my middle life, Living Things showed me the importance of humanity in their song Lost in the Echo. Thank you Mike, Chester, Joe, Brad, Rob and Dave for writing the soundtrack of my life. Thank you for the music in all these years! Rock on LP!
