You already know the facts about this one - one of the most iconic metal bands ever, Metallica are returning to the home turf this year, performing their incredible self-titled studio album, often referred to simply as The Black Album in full.
In 2012, the multi-million selling, Grammy award-winning band will visit Donington for the SEVENTH time in their career, having played both Monsters of Rock and Download Festivals – including the Monsters of Rock in 1991, the year The Black Album was released and Download 2006, where they headlined.
The Black Album was #1 in over 25 countries and spawned an incredible five hits: Enter Sandman, Sad But True, Wherever I May Roam, Nothing Else Matters and The Unforgiven.
"I am absolutely bowled over that Metallica will be playing The Black Album at the 10th anniversary of Download," said Download band booker Andy Copping. "To have Metallica back to help us celebrate this milestone is just fantastic."

I am in the LPU (now since two weeks, haha) and I hope I'll choosen out to meet them on a meet&greet at Rock am Ring this year. :)
But does anybody know how many members are admitted to that one?
