I was lucky enough to be one of the fans attending the VMA performance. I've never been so close to the band before, it was a totally unreal. But then again, I only recently moved to California and everything out here is unreal. Thank you so much for the opportunity to hear you play live and to take part in this historic moment!

PS: I was in the crowd right next to Brad's left foot and it looked like he was serenading me! It was hard to tell with the sunglasses, but still, what a thrill! Brad, I apologize for turning away occasionally, I wanted to take in the whole show, but I felt bad turning my back on you when you were so close! I was the girl in the black cap. I look forward to the next opportunity to see you guys!
