Though I must disagree with you about saying their doing it for fame because thats not the case. The guys in LP like to try new things,expand their tastes in music(like I do), make it their own and enjoy doing it. Now if the some of the newer fanbase says those things about HT and Meteora and likes JB(I dont) then thats just them and they have a right to feel that way. Finally I hope I havent started any bad terms with you cause I think its great to be able to have a conversation like this with another hardcore LP fan and being a huge fan since early 2003 Im always looking for other fans that can give a good talk about Linkin park as a whole and not just about the albums.

Like you I am a hardcore fan of LP and a big supporter of LB as well but rick rubin did help bring out a more creative and unique style in MTM and ATS which brought an even larger and more open fanbase to them.
