So my kid shares with me one day 3+ yrs ago that this song is how she feels about me and her. . . .naturally I blow it off. 1 !/2 yrs ago i give up on ruling her and put her in God;s hands. .  . .What a shocker to me that this (senior) year she is excelling and actually has some ambision in life. . . .Parents , STOP and recall where you were at your kid;\'s age and respect them for who they are! 

Personal side note on my experiences, If drugs and alcohol are part of their scene. . .get PROFEsSIONAL intervention help.....(I'm blessed, she is clean but I struggle) . But NeveR fool yourselves that you can save an addict from themselves. They need to find a higher power< accept they have problem and move forward.NO matter wht happens tho, just remind them that although you will not support their habit. . .they are always loved...if not by you anymore, by a Lord and Savior that knows how the story ends..
