Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has a near-full squad to pick from as he prepares for his final 17 games in the Bundesliga. The only notable absence is Holger Badstuber, who is out for the rest of the season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Franck Ribery missed training earlier in the week, but will be fine to start, while Arjen Robben is ready to play once more having recovered from a muscle injury which troubled him in the first half of the season. Meanwhile, Greuther Furth will without several players. Issa Ndoye (ankle), Michael Hefele (foot), Heinrich Schmidtgal (knee), Edgar Prib and Sebastian Tyrala (ACL) are all injured, while skipper Megrim Mavraj is suspended.

An almost perfect season play Bayern Munich so far. They won their Champions League group and stand nine points ahead of Leverkusen on the top of the Bundesliga table. Most impressive is their defensive performance. They kept a clean sheet in 11 from 17 Bundesliga matches, conceded just 7 goals all season. The only bad news are the injury of central defender Holger Badstuder, who will be absent until the rest of the season. Bayern are not totally reliable in the Allianz-Arena (6-2-1), played the last two at home only 1:1 against Dortmund and Mönchengladbach. Most recently they won warm-up fixtures in Qatar against Schalke (5:0) and Basel (3:0).

Greuther Fürth's first season in the Bundesliga ever has turned out anything else than successful. With only a single victory they stand on the bottom of the table, already ten points behind rank 15. They don't actually play the worst football, even have a decent defence, but just have massive problems in front of the goal, scored only eleven goals all season. Therefore they have engaged the Serbian striker Nikola Djurdjic from FK Haugesund, but he will miss the match in Munich due to an injury. Fürth haven't won a single match at home, but away from home they lost only half of their eight games (1-3-4).
